Wow… I've been to see Marcella perform but this was a totally unique experience from what I have seen before. Marcella has really leveled up since I last saw her a few years ago. Part of this has to do with the absolutely stunning visual and audio backdrop @infinitystairs created for the show. I truly have seen nothing like it. It was Swamp Soul combined with Electronic backdrops. I really hope they do this again since this was a one of a kind show I dont think Memphis has ever seen before. If you were there consider yourself lucky! Plus @talibah.safiya was there! I'll have photos from her show soon.This was a challenge to photograph since dark rooms with bright backdrops aren't the easiest to photograph but I think I made it work and happy with the results. This show really got me back into the Memphis music scene (which I have been taking for granted recently) and I am thankful to Crosstown for putting this show on. Until next time!
