I remember the first time I heard Corrina's music. The Spotify algorithm had gifted me one of her songs a few years ago. Without knowing the artist I was floored when hearing "The Shore" from her album Islands. It sounded like a soundtrack to some multi-million dollar Hollywood film that some famous composer had done. I looked at the artist and couldn't believe I knew them! Just one person had crafted this ethereal, reflective and emotional soundtrack that took me somewhere I had not been before. This feeling was the same last night when she performed at my favorite bar/venue DKDC. I had never seen an audience locked in to a show.
