I knew this show was going to be good but I did not expect total madness. Johnny Pandora is a rockabilly band from Japan and they came to Memphis ready to leave it all on the stage. And the bar. And the floor. Full leather, slick-backed hair, these guys have the look and the sound down to a science. You could tell how excited they were to be here too. Such nice guys and that genuine love for this city came through in the show. After the show photos of them popped up around town hitting the famous spots, Stax, Graceland, Sun Studio, the full Memphis experience!
The lead singer taught the crowd how to dance, a super fast high energy twist, and by the end of the night the whole place was moving. At the end of the show the band came off the stage and started running around the room, jumping over the bar, dancing in the middle of the crowd. It takes a lot for a show to surprise me these days and this one did it over and over. Hernando's has been killing it lately with the acts they bring in and this was one of my favorite shows of 2026. Enjoy!
