Brezay is a Memphis born recording artist, designer, and founder of the streetwear brand Brezerk, known for her genre-blending sound and dynamic stage presence. First time seeing her live and she did not disappoint.
There is nothing quite like watching a Memphis artist own the Shell stage and Brezay did exactly that. Rolling with a DJ, band and dancers, she brought a level of energy and stage presence that filled the whole place. You could feel how much that hometown stage meant to her and how much the crowd was right there with her. I volunteer photographing the Shell free concert series and nights like this are exactly why. A homegrown talent on the rise, a free show under the Memphis sky, and a crowd that showed up for one of their own. Enjoy!
