My first show of the year is going to end up being my favorite show of the year as we bid a bittersweet farewell to Memphis icon Haley Ivey. Not sure when I first noticed her but I feel like she has been around forever. After Gonerfest a few years ago she played with Turnt and thats when I became a fan. After that seems like she was in every band I came across playing live out in Memphis somewhere or I would come across her at a studio or two. Not only was she playing as Little Baby Tendencies and Snorkler but Memphis legends Model Zero and future legends Recent Future were on the bill as well. Plus it was an early show so I parked myself at the Lamp for 5 hours and this is what I got. Good luck Haley I know you will conquer Washington state just like you did here. Memphis is losing a real one.
